🚐 Meeting and Departure 7:00 a.m.
Our trip begins in the City of Manizales (if you are in another place you can request a transfer with additional cost here), the tour leader and the driver will pick you up at 7 a.m. in a private vehicle that will take us to have breakfast, in a journey of approximately 40 minutes.
🍳 Breakfast
We will recharge our batteries with a delicious peasant breakfast at a local restaurant with mountain views.
🚐 Arrival at the base of the Mountain
After having breakfast, we will take the vehicle again for 20 minutes until we reach the base of the mountain, where we will have an informative talk and preparation for the ascent.
🚶♂️ Start of the Hike to the Top of the Mountain
After receiving the Guide's recommendations, you will begin to ascend the mountain where you will be able to appreciate the characteristic flora and fauna of the Páramo, lagoons and incredible views, with technical stops to hydrate and acclimatize while the guide will surprise you with his environmental interpretation of the volcano. Upon reaching the top, we will have enough time to take photos and catch our breath to prepare to return to the starting point, where our vehicle will be waiting for us to take us to have a well-deserved lunch.
